This multi-tenant office building was conveniently on the site next to the Architect’s offices. The detail achieved in this building is a factor of design innovation, construction techniques and the extreme quality control that was exercised. A double volume entrance hosts a 2 floor high, in-situ, single cast, concrete wall. This wall, hosting the building number as indent as well as a pattern of spaced indentations, was carefully planned and executed in a single pour by getting the assembly of the shuttering, the positioning of the detail relief items, the mixture of concrete and the vibrations nothing less than perfect. The foyer interior welcomes the patrons to a double volume space where a galvanized mild steel spine design staircase with up-lights immediately catches the eye.
