An opportunity for a large established law firm to develop and own its own offices was identified and investigated by Prime Developments. The identified site is on a very busy corner of a high LSM area and close enough to the required amenities and public transport as required by the firm. Negotiations with the landowners yielded a promising offer to further assist with the viability of the project. The design was developed to exploit maximum presence and exposure to the roads and parking as the approach of a client to a law firm building should manifest nothing less than confidence and respect.
Massive wall and roof elements run from the ground up and down the other side as a monolithic element cantilevering towards the outside and filled with full-height glass curtain walls spanning 4 floors to expose the movement of the occupants through the central lobby area behind the internal double volume on each floor. The stature that these elements give to the building is undeniably that of grandeur. A sight for sore eyes at night with up-lights on the facades and the interior coming even more alive by lighting up the key architectural elements. Design drawings, feasibilities, consultation with town planning, sourcing of site, negotiation with property owners, and consultation with financiers were all included in this turn-key opportunity presented by the sister company Prime Developments.
